I received my B.S., M.S. & Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University. Afterwards, I worked as a postdoc research fellow at FOM Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics (AMOLF) and Department of Chemistry, University of Utah. At moment, I am a researcher at Department of Physics, Carnegie Mellon University. Research Interest and Experience 1) New models to bridge the spatial and temporal gaps between simulations and experiments; 2) Multi-scale computational methodology and force field development; 3) Novel advanced sampling techniques in statistical physics; 4) Interactions between biological membranes and peptides/proteins; 5) Activated processes in biological membranes; 6) Nucleation; 7) Phase transitions; 8) Surface/interface properties.
